- Everyone has a different path and different dreams. I started my fitness journey 9 months ago. I spent years wit my weight going up and down from bad eating habits and little to no exercise. I decided to make a change and take control of my life. Here’s my backstory. - I grew up in a little town called Kokomo in Indiana. Not a ton of people know where or even what Kokomo is. I was an above average student, a friend to many, and an athlete. - As an above average student I found myself spending a lot of time focused on school, and I never really spent a lot of time with friends or doing other fun things. I didn’t go to parties very much at all, and I spent my time and effort on school and sports. The best parts of school were my weight training classes and practices. - As a friend I was the dependable one who would be there if you needed me, but I never really had time to go do all of the fun things that a lot of my friends did. I had a core group of friends that I spent time playing sports and working out with, but outside of that not much else. - As an athlete I spent a lot of time in the weight room, on the court, and on the field. I loved every second of it, and I thought that was what life was all about. - After high school ended I stopped working out, stopped playing sports to a large extent, and I started eating terribly. Fast forward a couple years and I was up to 285 pounds from 205. I was literally in the worst shape of my life, and my energy levels, and physical capabilities showed for it. - I now have 2 children and a wife, and I train 5 days a week so I can keep up with them in the future. My decision to make a change also lead me to looking at helping others change their lives as well. That is why I’m pursuing my dream to be a personal trainer, which is wanted I wanted to do while I was in high school. - If you’ve taken the time to read all of this I want to say a major thank you for hearing my story. - How strong are your hamstrings❓🤔 A number of atricles📚 have shown that loading the hamstrings eccentrically is effective an reducing 📉the risk of injury aswell as the reoccurrence of any past strains/pulls😀The first video 1️⃣is a demonstration of glider ham curls, be sure to keep your lower abs and glutes engaged throughout, try not to overly arch the lumbar spine (lower back) 2️⃣In the second video pulling in against a resistance using a band increases the intensity of the exercise. Adding these glider curls along with Romainian deads and Nordic Curls into your programming, this will surely help to strengthen both from hip and knee.
